Shell Chester Half Marathon
Sunday 18th May 2008 9:30am.
The race is organized in conjunction with Chester City Council Sports Development and sponsored by Shell. It is run over a fast, accurately measured course starting and finishing at Chester Roodee Racecourse. There is also a 1 mile family fun run on grass around the inside of the race track. Each year a local charity is supported by the event and runners are invited to raise money for the nominated charity. Since 2002 the race limit has been reached before the closing date. In 2005 this was set at 2600.
The 2008 charity is The Hospice of the Good Shepherd.
